OUR STORY
Tom and Gabby first crossed paths as juniors at the University of Pittsburgh in the winter of 2017, just weeks before Gabby was set to leave for a five-month study abroad program in Florence. Despite the timing, sparks flew instantly.
A quick introduction through mutual friends turned into an evening of laughter, card games, and a bold move from Tom…playing footsies under the table. As they talked, they were amazed to realize they’d somehow never met before, despite sharing friends and living just a block apart.
While Gabby was abroad, they stayed in touch through texts and late-night calls, getting to know each other across continents. When she returned, they picked up right where they left off and made things official.
Just five days into dating, Gabby knew she could bring Tom home to meet her big Italian family. And the rest, as they say, is history.

What to Expect
Lemnos is a small island in the North Aegean Sea and part of Greece. It is the birthplace of Tom’s grandmother and home to several of his relatives. As a child, Tom and his family spent many summers in Lemnos together.

Getting There
To reach Lemnos, fly into Athens (ATH) or Thessaloniki (SKG). From there, you have two options:
A short domestic flight to Lemnos (LXS)
A ferry ride (even without a car, ferries are a popular choice)
On the Wedding Day
We’ll be providing transportation on the day of the wedding.
